NECTAR is an open, voluntary, umbrella body, established to provide a forum in which the many organisations with an interest in sustainable transport in all its forms, can develop a coordinated view on contemporary transport issues.
NECTAR provides opportunity for the exchange of news, studies and information.
NECTAR covers North East England (Berwick to Whitby, coast to Pennines) and provides a single, co-ordinated voice for dialogue with the Government Office for the North East, One North East, the North East Assembly, the Association of North East Councils and similar bodies concerned with transport and related policies at a regional, national and European level
This is a relatively new website (launched January 2008) and we'd appreciate feedback and suggestions for features.
